Update:

Alert: reports of incidents in the Oldbury and Tipton areas

 Reported by Oldbury Academy on Wednesday 13 February 2019 [am]

A parent has reported that her daughter was followed on Tuesday 12 February 2019 at approximately 3.20pm by a white Mercedes sprinter van. The van was going slowly down Parkfields Road and pulled in front of the student as if to talk to her. The parent saw what was happening and shouted over. The van pulled off and reversed and went back the way he came.

The police have been informed.

Two Year 9 students have reported that on Tuesday 12 February 2019 at approximately 6.10pm, they were followed by a man, between Great Bridge Asda and Great Bridge chip shop. The students started to run away and the man shouted at them and chased them. The students reached the safety of a relative’s house.

Description: white male, 5’6” tall, in his 30’s, with a short beard and wearing a dark hooded jacket.

Alert: report of an incident in the West Bromwich area

On Monday 11 February 2019, at approximately 3.30pm, a student has reported that she was approach by male in a white BMW car on Claypit Lane, West Bromwich.

Description:   male, 19‑21 years old with fair skin, short black hair and a “goatee” and wearing a white hoodie, with a lot of gold chains and a large watch.

The police have been notified.
