Alert: report of an incident in the Tipton area

Reported by Summerhill Primary Academy on Tuesday 18 June 2019 [am]

After school on Monday 17 June 2019, a parent has reported that a man, who was sat in a BMW car [blue or black] by the crossing outside Summerhill Primary Academy on Upper Church Lane, was encouraging a pupil to get into his car.

When parents approached the man he drove off towards a bus stop where he approached a group of secondary school aged girls and asked them how old they were. The man then drove off down Arthur Road.

Description: black male with a beard and glasses wearing a black cap pulled down over his eyes.

The police have been notified.

Location: Robert Road, Tipton.

On Tuesday 18 June 2019, after school, a student was approached by a man who was acting “weirdly”.

Description: black male, stocky build with a bald head and dressed in black.

The police have been notified.
