Alert: report of an incident in the Cradley Heath area

Date: Monday 7 October 2019, between 8am and 8.30am

Location: Pearson Street, Cradley Heath

An unknown male follows the Year 12 student along Pearson Street, Cradley Heath, towards Old Hill Church, where she meets her cousin.  When she reaches the church, the man then asks her the time, just as her cousin arrives, and both girls carry on walking. The man follows.

Both girls run around the church and the man continues to follow them. The girls enter a local shop, near Old Hill Primary School, and they wait in the shop for 5‑10 minutes before the shopkeeper informs them that the man has left and they are safe to continue to school.

Description: white male, average height, with dark hair and dark stubble, wearing a navy-blue coat with hood, black joggers and white trainers, and carrying a blue plastic carrier bag.

The police have been informed.
